Job Requirements :
Usher/Guest Service Representative
As part of the Guest Services team, ushers are responsible for providing excellent guest services at all NYCB Theatre at Westbury events. This includes greeting guests, providing information and directions, assisting with problems/issues, and controlling ticket access points throughout the venue.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates are required to have at least one (1) year prior customer service experience, preferably in a theatre/entertainment venue environment. Applicants must be able to work weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) events throughout the year.  Shifts schedules vary, candidate must be available to work from 5:00pm-midnight during the week. Candidate must be able to stand for a minimum of 6-8 hour shifts, walk up and down stairs. Candidates should be friendly, outgoing, and presentable with the ability to think quickly in a fast paced environment and communicate effectively.
Security Officer
Responsible for the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets. Functions include: Conduct patrols of the building on a regular basis. Respond to all security & safety related calls in a timely manner. Exhibit exemplary conduct & appearance while on duty. Comply with & adhere to all the department's performance, conduct & attendance standards. Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure. Comply with all the legal & ethical instructions given by the Security Supervisors. Adhere to the Security department's Prime Directives. Investigate and compile accurate incident reports. Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by the Security Supervisors and/or the Manager of Security. Interact with patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Current valid NY guard card required. Ability to communicate effectively in English. An understanding of the rule of law and the relevant penal codes. Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner. Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without the loss of composure. Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information. Ability to interact effectively and calmly patrons and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances. Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp and drag.
Box Office – Ticket Seller
Assist customers with ticket purchases. Distribute will call to customers for various sporting events and concerts. Inform customers of general NYCB Theatre at Westbury information (i.e., upcoming events, ticket availability, event selection, and general parking information). At the end of his/her shift, employee will reconcile all sales and will call receipts.

Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma required. Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be able to demonstrate commitment and willingness to consistently provide excellent customer service at all times. Must be able to work flexible hours. Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.  Experience with Ticketmaster systems preferred.
